Description

Build and scale distributed systems for the Singularly Data Lake team to support autonomous SIEM capabilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build implementations of technical specifications and write comprehensive tests for new code and identified issues.
• Review code for quality, test coverage, and security while providing feedback on technical specifications.
• Document implementation details, data structures, and architectural trade-offs.
• Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot outage incidents and resolve security issues.
• Collaborate with team members to solve technical problems and participate in weekly syncs with SRE.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience working within Kubernetes environments.
• Background in cloud and operational environments.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical work experience.
