Description

Research and emulate sophisticated attack techniques to improve detection engines and analyze attack paths within cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Research newest attack techniques and emulate their internals to assess detection engine effectiveness.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of potential attack paths within diverse cloud systems and networks.
  • Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities and weaknesses exploitable by cyber adversaries.
  • Build tools for detection assessments and create proof-of-concepts for new exploits.
  • Write detection content for attack path scenarios and monitor false positive rates.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Red Teaming, Offensive Research, or Penetration Testing.
  • Deep understanding of OS internals for both Windows and Linux.
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python and C/C++.
  • Experience in cloud attack path analysis, vulnerability assessment, and threat modeling.
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and Azure architectures and services.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud security configurations.
  • Deep understanding of malware operations, evasion techniques, and exploitation.
  • Experience in static and dynamic malware analysis and x86/x64 reverse engineering.
  • Experience writing detection signatures and heuristics.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing automation flows for unconventional attacks and offensive frameworks.
