Staff Consultant - Database & Infrastructure

You will actively engage in billable project work, dedicating a minimum of 70% of your time to project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer-focused design workshops to gather requirements and constraints for solution design.
• Design and deploy Nutanix Database for multiple database engines, focusing on SQL Server and Oracle.
• Create design documentation using enterprise architecture frameworks and toolkits.
• Provide pre-sales support as an expert to enhance the sales process.
• Define activities, objectives, and milestones required to meet customer business outcomes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in server virtualization infrastructure or hybrid cloud.
• 4+ years working as a database administrator or database architect.
• Extensive experience engaging with customers in a system integrator or consulting role.
• Proven expertise in database design within public, hybrid, or traditional 3-tier environments.
• Significant hands-on experience performing database migrations across multiple platforms.
• Deep experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.
• Expertise building large scale, highly-available, and fault-tolerant database architectures (e.g., MS-SQL AAG, Oracle RAC).
• Exceptional ability to whiteboard solutions and produce detailed technical documentation.
• Excellent oral and written proficiency in Spanish and upper-intermediate proficiency in English.
