Description

Architect and operate large-scale cloud data platforms, owning the technical evolution of enterprise data engineering frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design modular, extensible data platforms using Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and dbt.
• Build and maintain high-reliability CI/CD pipelines for data processing and infrastructure as code.
• Guide long-term platform strategy, ensuring scalability and compliance in HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Mentor engineering teams and drive technical decisions across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Implement Lakehouse architectures on Azure, leveraging OneLake and Microsoft Fabric.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in data engineering, including 2+ years in a senior or staff role.
• Deep proficiency with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and dbt.
• Strong Python and PySpark development skills.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, and Lakehouse design.
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and platform reliability.
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog and cloud-native engineering practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
