Description

You will own the architecture, development, and deployment of Oracle and MS SQL databases in high SLA environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical database structures based on business requirements and data models.
• Lead database migration initiatives from Oracle systems to SQL Server platforms.
• Implement high-availability solutions, replication, encryption, and disaster recovery.
• Conduct proactive performance analysis and resolve complex production database issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews to ensure quality assurance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8+ years with a master's degree.
• Expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Proficiency with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Proven experience in Database Engineering and Performance Tuning.
• Experience implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage and maintain database infrastructure adhering to security policies.
