Description

You will own the architecture, configuration, and management of scalable, highly available database clusters.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage database clusters including Oracle, Google Spanner, MySQL, CloudSQL, and BigTable.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Kubernetes.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for schema and infrastructure automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
• Design and enforce secure data handling, encryption, and access control practices.
• Optimize database and Big Data systems for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in database engineering.
• Experience with Oracle, MySQL, CloudSQL, and BigTable.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Skilled in Python for database and platform tooling automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
