Description

You will lead infrastructure automation and scaling efforts for a large-scale streaming platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure automation, scaling, and CI/CD projects to completion.
• Develop tools and systems to facilitate high-quality software delivery and enforce architectural standards.
• Mentor engineers and establish automation best practices across cross-functional teams.
• Design and deploy systems compliant with data sovereignty requirements like GDPR.
• Collaborate with SRE and delivery teams to enable independent, safe software deployment.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure management.
• 8+ years in production environments combining DevOps and software engineering.
• 5+ years managing containerized infrastructure using ECS or Kubernetes.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS services including S3, SQS, and Lambda.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi or Terraform.
• Proficiency in TypeScript with familiarity in Go or Python.
• Strong knowledge of GitOps practices and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and CodeDeploy.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (DynamoDB) databases.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of streaming video delivery, encoding workflows, and video origin architecture.
• Experience with HashiCorp tools (Vault, Packer) and familiarity with GCP.
• Understanding of security concepts including cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
