You own infrastructure automation and operational excellence for scalable software delivery.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale high-availability systems with a focus on operational excellence.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the technology platform.
• Design and deploy systems adhering to data sovereignty requirements (e.g., GDPR).
• Collaborate with engineers to build tools that facilitate high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of relevant experience in DevOps and infrastructure management.
• 8+ years working in production environments combining DevOps and software engineering.
• 5+ years managing containerized infrastructure in ECS or Kubernetes.
• 5+ years experience in AWS, including ECS, S3, SQS, Lambda, and containerization.
• Expertise in GitOps practices and CI/CD, utilizing tools like GHA & CodeDeploy.
• 5+ years experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Pulumi and Terraform.
• Proficiency in programming with TypeScript, and familiarity with Go or Python.
• Experience guiding software engineers on production best practices.
• Familiarity with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vault, Packer or other HashiCorp tools.
• Knowledge of streaming video delivery architectures.
