Description

Lead the architecture and maintenance of scalable services across multiple data regions. Own a suite of services supporting Market Research solutions from technical specification to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable services across multiple data regions.
• Build observable systems to track metrics for monitoring and product decision-making.
• Write readable, extensible code following software best practices.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, testing, code reviews, and mentorship.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in web application development with a backend focus.
• Experience leading and shipping large-scale, cross-functional projects.
• Deep expertise in designing and building services and APIs.
• Proficiency with REST/GraphQL and coding against internal or external services.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Pyramid.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring Framework, Maven, and Tomcat.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Jira within a Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of one or more design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
