Description

Design and develop scalable microservices and backend systems for real-time AI and voice workflows. You will own end-to-end system design, including architecture, APIs, data models, deployment, and monitoring.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices and backend systems for real-time AI and voice workflows.
• Own end-to-end system design including architecture, APIs, data models, deployment, and monitoring.
• Optimize backend services for performance, concurrency, and fault tolerance at high scale.
• Implement observability, testing, and resilience best practices using tools like Datadog and Sentry.
• Collaborate with product and AI teams to evolve multi-agent orchestration and automation capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of relevant backend engineering experience.
• Backend development experience in Java and/or Python.
• Strong system design fundamentals with a focus on concurrency and distributed systems.
• Experience building scalable, high-availability APIs and backend services.
• Ability to design for reliability, performance, and operational readiness in production environments.
• Hands-on experience designing and evolving APIs for complex backend workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems and large-scale backend architectures.
• Demonstrated system design experience for high-scale services.
