Description

You will design and develop construction plans and schematics for a variety of structural projects, working under the mentorship of licensed engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop construction plans and schematics using CAD software.
• Ensure all designs comply with established engineering standards.
• Scope projects including custom homes, additions, remodels, multi-family complexes, commercial buildings, bridges, and retaining walls.
• Oversee design execution for structures ranging from garages and shade structures to larger commercial builds.
• Collaborate with licensed engineers to refine technical solutions and ensure structural integrity.

Required Skills

• EIT certification (Engineer-in-Training).
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with structural engineering coursework.
• Proficiency in CAD software for construction plan development.
• Strong problem-solving skills applied to structural design challenges.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Attention to detail across all design work.
