You will act as a technology leader, shaping technical vision and ensuring platform health across Asia and Pacific markets.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall technology strategy and align systems with long-term technical goals.
• Design and maintain well-architected, secure, reliable, and cost-effective systems.
• Grow technical capabilities within the team through coaching, mentoring, and line management.
• Drive cross-team collaboration, decision-making, and accountability to deliver customer value.
• Improve how the team builds, deploys, and maintains high-quality software.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience leading diverse software engineering teams.
• Solid experience building and maintaining software using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Proven track record designing and operating highly scalable, available, and secure web-scale architectures.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CDK or CloudFormation, and AWS Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience creating and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines using tools like Buildkite or TeamCity.
• Competency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to write clean, testable code and implement secure coding practices.
• Experience operating effectively within distributed team environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting product experiments and hypothesis-driven development.
• Interest in Distributed Systems Observability, software testing, or UI Component Libraries.
• Experience setting technical practices that enable high-performing software teams.
