Description

You will serve as a technical leader for one or more domains, driving long-term strategy and solving high-complexity problems. You own the release pipeline, advocate for product quality, security, and performance, and shepherd internal standards for style and maintainability in a high-scale web environment. You identify technical debt to enable faster iteration, mentor engineers to grow their autonomy, and decompose complex requirements into actionable architecture proposals.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity while driving long-term technical strategy.
• Advocate for product quality, security, and performance standards across the engineering team.
• Shepherd internal coding standards, maintainability, and best practices within a high-scale web environment.
• Identify and resolve technical debt to enable faster team iteration and reduce blockers.
• Mentor engineers to expand their technical responsibilities and decompose complex requirements into architecture designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Expertise in building and managing APIs and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Strong database skills using SQL and JSON.
• Experience with responsive design and modern web components.
• Ability to write Bash scripts for automation and tooling.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to lead technical domains and influence team objectives.
