Description

You will bridge the gap between security and engineering teams to implement scalable security measures and reduce critical risk.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate scalable security capabilities into core products and platforms.
• Drive security risk reduction by influencing engineering roadmaps through technical leadership.
• Lead security reviews for critical features, new initiatives, and infrastructure changes.
• Use security metrics and data to drive accountability and action at the product level.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering with a focus on designing scalable solutions.
• Deep technical expertise in Application Security, Cloud Security, and Product Security.
• Strong background in software development with specialized security engineering expertise.
• Proficiency in Threat Modeling methodologies and leading security design reviews.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing outcomes outside the security organization.
• Ability to translate emerging security threats into actionable engineering requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences using metrics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure and application security risks and mitigation techniques.
