You will lead the design and optimization of advanced image processing algorithms for scientific and biomedical imaging applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable image analysis pipelines for enhancement, restoration, segmentation, registration, and feature extraction.
• Design and train deep learning models for image classification, object detection, and anomaly detection using TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Evaluate algorithm accuracy, computational efficiency, and scalability across large image datasets.
• Collaborate with domain experts to translate biological workflows into robust AI-driven solutions.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for algorithm benchmarking and validation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering or computer vision.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Deep expertise with OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Proven track record in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision.
• Experience with classical image processing techniques and quantitative image analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with U-Net, Mask R-CNN, YOLO, Faster R-CNN, or DETR frameworks.
• Familiarity with generative AI, foundation vision models, and multimodal AI in scientific imaging.
