Description

Lead performance engineering R&D and methodology for large distributed systems.

You will own end-to-end system performance and overhead analysis, developing benchmarks and research-driven methodologies. Architect and analyze complex software solutions while evaluating CPU, memory, network, and storage subsystems to optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end system performance and overhead analysis.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience in performance engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++.
• Experience working with large distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software subsystems including CPU, memory, network, and storage.
• Basic Linux system administration and hypervisor skills.
• Ability to architect and understand complex software solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ESXi and Linux performance tools.
• Exposure to data analytics, machine learning, and statistical analyses.
• Familiarity with designing regression testing experiments and performing regression analysis.
