Description

You will architect automation frameworks and implement software solutions for test automation and hardware integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop software that interfaces with external APIs, embedded systems, and hardware components.
• Design test suites to validate software APIs and implement solutions on prototype robotic hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable automation solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 6 years with a Master's, or 4 years with a PhD in CS, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python or C++.
• Experience with hardware or embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience designing, communicating, and managing test cases and reporting bugs.
• Proven ability to build complex systems and deliver high-quality software.
• Ability to present technical information to customers and leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Expert knowledge of Python and experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with ROS, simulation tools, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Expertise with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with networking, operating systems, or radio communications.
