Description

You will lead the development and verification of Boot ROM firmware for complex SoCs.

Responsibilities

• Create firmware requirements for Boot ROM based on design and security specifications.
• Develop firmware in C and generate bit files for validation on FPGA boards.
• Define and execute self-verification activities for SoC security, including compliance and penetration threat verification.
• Support internal customers with Boot ROM firmware queries and use cases.
• Bring complex SoCs from design into physical production.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on firmware development experience in C for ASICs.
• Strong experience with ARM microcontroller architecture, specifically Cortex-M4.
• Proficiency with processor toolchains including compilers, assemblers, and simulators.
• Hands-on experience working on the HW/SW interface.
• Experience using debuggers such as Segger/J-Link or IAR.
• Solid understanding of device security aspects and potential threat modes.
• Knowledge of cryptography algorithms and data encryption/decryption verification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ARM debug infrastructure.
