Description

Lead technical direction for Guidewire PolicyCenter development, architecture, and implementation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for PolicyCenter development and enforce application architecture standards.
• Lead technical teams through code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and guiding vendor partners.
• Partner with architects, BAs, and QA leads to deliver accurate technical designs and estimates.
• Manage cross-functional impacts, integrations, and multiple priorities to meet established timelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration using Gosu (versions 7.0, 8.0, or 10).
• 5+ years of experience developing web-based Java, J2EE, or .NET applications.
• Strong proficiency with Java, J2EE, JMS, JSP, XML, JSON, and JDBC.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP and REST Web Services.
• Experience leading software development teams and managing technical specifications.
• Proficiency working within Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server relational database technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Batch, Spring Boot, or containerization in cloud environments like OpenShift, AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Rally, or SonarQube.
