Description

Lead the design of data pipelines and automated ETL processes to evolve ledger reconciliation and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate ETL processes while optimizing SQL for improved ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain and create data adaptors for real-time data processing, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Improve data warehouse structures to support next-generation reconciliation capabilities.
• Mentor engineers while contributing as an individual contributor on critical infrastructure.
• Partner with third-party vendors, Data Analytics, and Crypto Core teams for data processing.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• 7+ years designing and implementing reconciliation systems and improving data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills and extensive database design experience.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Experience with financial transaction systems (banking or exchange systems) and extensive ETL.
• Hands-on experience with cryptocurrency data and trade or ledger reconciliation.
• Experience building real-time data solutions and automating reconciliation analysis.
• Experience with Airflow, Databricks, Spark, or Hadoop.
• Experience with MPP databases such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial reporting requirements for publicly traded companies.
