Description

You will lead automation initiatives across the software development lifecycle, release, and maintenance phases for the Sling platform. You will deploy and debug cloud stacks, educate teams on infrastructure security, and manage DevOps functions. Support severity-based outages during 24/7 shifts and enhance existing tools including Kubernetes, Rancher, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation across software development, release, operations, and maintenance stages.
• Deploy and debug cloud stacks while educating teams on new projects and infrastructure security.
• Manage DevOps functions and responsibilities specifically for the Sling platform.
• Support and enhance existing tools and platforms including Kubernetes, Rancher, and Docker.
• Support severity-based outages during 24/7 shifts following organizational maintenance guidelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience.
• Strong experience with Linux Operating Systems and Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and scheduling using Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and DevOps culture, specifically GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Helm.
• Working experience with AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or cloudinit.
• Programming experience with Spring, Java, Go, PHP, or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with public cloud service offerings including OCI or Google Cloud.
