Description

You will secure platform infrastructure across cloud and non-cloud environments, focusing on containerization and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain security services and platforms for engineering teams.
• Build and improve security controls across all layers of infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering teams on security architecture and implementation decisions.
• Collaborate with AppSec, threat detection, incident response, and GRC to identify and reduce risk.
• Self-scope, define, and manage short and long-term technical goals.

Required Skills

• Significant experience with Kubernetes and EKS security.
• Background in SRE, systems engineering, or network engineering.
• Experience with distributed systems and AWS cloud computing.
• Strong software development experience using Python or Go.
• Proven track record building and owning high-availability critical systems.
• Deep familiarity with computer security principles and practices.
• Experience with Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing cryptographic infrastructure including PKI, secrets management, or secure data transmission.
• Experience implementing identity and access management systems.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
