Description

Design and own backend services, APIs, and data models that power enterprise-grade SaaS applications. You will build secure, multi-tenant systems with rigorous observability and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Model and manage data in PostgreSQL and related stores to ensure low-latency, reliable user experiences.
• Implement secure, multi-tenant architectures with granular permissions and auditing for enterprise and government customers.
• Integrate LLMs and agentic tools, orchestrating AI system calls through robust, well-structured services.
• Establish observability through meaningful logging, metrics, and tracing, and participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of backend development experience with Python.
• Hands-on expertise with FastAPI and/or Flask frameworks.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture and design principles.
• Strong knowledge of database design, management, and query tuning in PostgreSQL.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance SaaS or enterprise backend systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven ability to design multi-tenant architectures and enterprise-grade system designs.
• Experience with system scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
• Ability to collaborate with product and frontend teams to define clear API contracts.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI/LLM-based integrations and agentic tooling.
