Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own the full lifecycle of software development from requirements gathering and design through build, testing, maintenance, and production support.
• Lead the design and development of microservices, including inter-service communication and ensuring data consistency.
• Build and evolve high-availability services using Java and Spring Boot, with strong focus on API design, security, and performance.
• Partner with product managers and other stakeholders to translate user requirements into functional, scalable features.
• Drive quality engineering practices including unit-testable code, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives; troubleshoot complex production issues to maintain stability and performance.

Skills Required:

• 7+ years of experience in web application development or software engineering in a large enterprise environment using modern frameworks.
• Java expertise including concurrency and memory management, plus strong Spring Boot development experience.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks such as Hibernate, and database design best practices.
• Experience building event-driven, highly available services using Kafka/Kinesis and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker/containerization, Kubernetes/orchestration, and AWS; familiarity with Terraform and observability tooling such as DataDog.

Good to Have:

• Experience with containerization concepts, JavaScript and React for UI-adjacent work, and HTML/CSS/JS.
• Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies in high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience in digital advertising and/or building Order Management Systems supporting Quote-to-Cash.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
