Description

You will design and manage processes and tooling to enhance security enablement for technical resources and foster a security-first culture across engineering teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the Security Champions Program, including establishing OKRs and monitoring efficacy.
  • Create frameworks for identifying, recruiting, and retaining influential Security Champions across teams.
  • Organize technical meetings and forums to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop technical program documentation, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Curate and deliver live training materials to meet specific educational needs for engineering teams.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, software development, or a related technical field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience coordinating or contributing to a Security Champions or equivalent program.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
  • Experience with secure coding practices, application security, secure design, and threat modeling.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences through strong presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree.
  • Deep understanding of OWASP and its applicability in software development.
  • Experience in program management, technical training, and employee engagement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
