Description

You will own the design, development, and operation of core backend services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and APIs for web applications and system integrations.
• Model, manage, and optimize data in PostgreSQL for low-latency performance.
• Build secure, multi-tenant systems with permissions awareness for enterprise and government customers.
• Implement backend features using LLMs and agentic tools to orchestrate AI interactions.
• Take ownership of production services, including incident resolution and on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Expert proficiency with Python and frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
• Strong experience building scalable, distributed backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Proven ability to develop secure, multi-tenant, enterprise-grade backend systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with MySQL, SQL Server, and tools like SSMS.
