Roles and  Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new functionality in low-level software components using C and C++
• Analyze complex defects and drive root-cause resolution across system-level code paths
• Work on system architecture topics including processor-level behavior, OS fundamentals, and bootloader interactions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and peers
• Contribute to engineering quality through test strategy, code reviews, and disciplined development practices

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in C and C++ programming for complex software systems
• Deep understanding of system architecture, preferably ARM-based platforms, OS fundamentals, and bootloaders
• Ability to debug sophisticated issues in low-level software and add significant new functionality
• Experience with test methodologies and automation practices in a software engineering environment

Good to Have:

• Python programming and shell scripting
• Software profiling, instrumentation, and optimization
• Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices
• Open-source development cycles, upstreaming, and codeline maintenance

Education :B.Tech or B.E. in Electrical, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Machines
