Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize BI and analytics platforms including Snowflake to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Lead platform upgrades, migrations, patching activities, and infrastructure improvements with minimal operational disruption.
• Implement and manage observability frameworks, monitoring systems, alerts, and dashboards across analytics platforms and AWS infrastructure.
• Drive incident management processes, lead high-severity incident response activities, and perform root cause analysis for production issues.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions and automation scripts to streamline platform operations and monitoring workflows.
• Collaborate with BI, analytics, and reporting teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-effective platform solutions.
• Improve operational efficiency by implementing proactive monitoring, automation, and performance optimization strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish engineering best practices related to observability, automation, and platform reliability.
• Support CI/CD implementation and operational automation initiatives across analytics environments.
• Ensure platform governance, operational compliance, and adherence to engineering standards and best practices.

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in AWS services supporting BI and analytics platforms.
• Hands-on experience administering and optimizing Snowflake environments.
• Strong knowledge of observability tools, monitoring systems, alerting frameworks, and operational dashboards.
• Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and production support operations.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools and automation scripting.
• Experience building scalable and reliable analytics platform infrastructure.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation practices.
• Familiarity with AIOps concepts and operational analytics is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor teams and drive operational excellence initiatives.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
