Description

Lead the design and development of security features for network security products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features to enhance network security product capabilities.
• Own end-to-end delivery including unit testing, validation, and automation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.
• Maintain existing code and troubleshoot issues within large-scale, complex environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience targeting Linux/Unix applications.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with Perl and Python.
• Expertise in Linux system and middleware programming.
• Deep understanding of Linux Operating System internals, OS bring up, Secure Boot, Bootloader, and SELinux.
• Strong understanding of certificates and cryptography.
• Ability to triage, reproduce, and implement fixes for security vulnerabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of networking protocols including DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, and IPSec.
• Experience with enterprise networking or security appliances.
