Description

You will design and develop security-focused features for network products, ensuring robust protection in large-scale environments. You own end-to-end delivery, including unit testing, validation, and automation, while providing technical leadership and mentorship to the team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop security features for network products, collaborating with architects on complex challenges.
• Triage, reproduce, and implement fixes for security vulnerabilities in Linux-based systems.
• Maintain existing codebases and troubleshoot issues within complex, large-scale environments.
• Own end-to-end delivery including unit testing, validation, and automation pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience targeting Linux/Unix applications.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with Perl and Python scripting.
• Expertise in Linux system and middleware programming.
• Deep understanding of Linux OS internals, OS bring up, Secure Boot, Bootloader, and SELinux.
• Strong understanding of certificates and cryptography.
• Knowledge of networking protocols including DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, and IPSec.

Preferred Skills

• Experience on the platform side for enterprise networking or security appliances.
• Experience with network security products such as SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF, or Firewall.
