Description

Lead engineering efforts for a growing Professional Services consulting Cloud & DevOps practice. You will own complex technical implementations, data models, and database optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams through complex technical implementations.
• Design and develop advanced data models and SQL solutions.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and windowing.
• Implement data structures, algorithms, and concurrency patterns.
• Apply Agile methodologies and test-driven development to the delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Data Modeling and SQL development experience.
• Advanced SQL expertise including query creation, windowing, and tuning.
• Experience with Relational Databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like HBase or MongoDB.
• Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Concurrency.
• Experience with big data analytics or real-time analytics solutions.
• Experience working within Agile (Scrum) frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Looker’s LookML modeling language.
• Experience building Microservices and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or ElasticSearch.
