Description

You will own features end-to-end across a modern Python/React stack, focusing on reliability, data plumbing, and enterprise integration.

Responsibilities

• Ship production features across React (frontend) and FastAPI (backend) powering core products.
• Design and evolve APIs and Postgres schemas for performance, correctness, and auditability.
• Containerize and deploy services with Docker/Podman and Kubernetes; tune queues for throughput and idempotency.
• Build data ingestion pipelines that handle tabular sources and gracefully process unstructured data like PDFs.
• Integrate with customer systems such as Maximo, DevonWay, and Microsoft 365/Teams.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience shipping production React and FastAPI applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL schema migrations, indexing, and partitioning.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes for service deployment.
• Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, and Celery for background task processing.
• Ability to implement observability using Sentry and Netdata to reduce system noise.
• Degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/ML pipelines, prompt engineering, or vector search.
• Background in startup environments or safety-critical domains like utilities or aviation.
