Description

You will own features end-to-end across a modern Python and React stack, focusing on reliability, data plumbing, and enterprise integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production features using React and FastAPI.
• Design APIs and evolve Postgres schemas for performance, correctness, and auditability.
• Containerize services with Docker/Podman and Kubernetes; tune Redis, RabbitMQ, and Celery for throughput and idempotency.
• Build data ingestion pipelines that handle tabular sources and safely process unstructured data like PDFs.
• Integrate with customer systems such as Maximo, DevonWay, and Microsoft 365.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Production experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong backend skills in Python, specifically FastAPI.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and SQLite.
• Experience with Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work independently and ship features within weeks.
• Strong focus on correctness, typed APIs, and testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/ML, data pipelines, or prompt engineering.
• Background in startup environments.
• Familiarity with safety-critical domains like utilities or aviation.
