Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain production services using Python and Django, with attention to performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and evolve RESTful APIs, ensuring clean interfaces, robust error handling, and maintainable service contracts.
• Apply strong object-oriented design, concurrency understanding, SOLID principles, and proven design patterns in enterprise system development.
• Lead technical decisions for backend architecture, including distributed system design and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to coach best practices and raise the bar for code quality, testing, and deployment discipline.

Skills Required:

• 15+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• Expert-level Python and Django experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong Java fundamentals including object-oriented design and concurrency for enterprise-level systems.
• RESTful API development experience delivering backend services and integrations.
• Hands-on relational database experience and cloud familiarity with AWS or Azure.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud services.
• Database experience with MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• AI/ML exposure for practical application in production systems.

Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
