Description

You will design and maintain distributed systems using Python and Next.js, ensuring consistency and scalability under real-world traffic.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement event-driven systems using Kafka or similar brokers at scale.
• Refactor and migrate existing services while live, utilizing the strangler pattern and feature flags.
• Build full-stack features across Python backends and Next.js/React frontends.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of CAP theorem, eventual consistency, and trade-offs.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Experience with Next.js and React for frontend development.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent message brokers.
• Operational experience with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with MongoDB for data persistence.
• Knowledge of AI integration patterns.
