You will design and implement high-quality distributed system software to solve complex business problems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate system architecture and product requirements into well-designed software components.
• Own the implementation of software components with a focus on test-driven development and engineering best practices.
• Lead software design reviews and conduct peer code reviews to maintain high quality.
• Design, test, deploy, and maintain solutions to improve service performance, durability, and security.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers on the team.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building scalable, distributed systems using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 3+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Deep knowledge of Object Oriented Principles using Java.
• Proficiency with Java/J2EE, Spring Core, Spring Boot, and JPA (e.g., Hibernate).
• Strong experience with SQL, including data modeling, stored procedures, and views, preferably with MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency with the Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Integration, and Data).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data systems, containerized microservices, serverless functions, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience building reactive systems using Spring Cloud and WebFlux.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Spark.
