Description

You will lead the design and development of cloud-native microservices at global scale, setting technical standards for availability, latency, and efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement significant functional changes to existing or new software systems.
• Lead the development of multi-region deployments and failover strategies for high-volume transaction systems.
• Mentor junior engineers up to Senior level and drive best practices for engineering excellence.
• Establish and improve data-driven KPIs for performance, scale, availability, and security.
• Collaborate with remote peers across disparate geographies to shape development strategies.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software development experience with strong CS fundamentals.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Vert.x.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes-based microservice architectures.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and messaging services.
• Knowledge of service mesh, API gateways, and other cloud providers (GCP, Azure).
• Experience with data migration workflows and incident response.
