Description

You will own the development of microservices and web applications powering data collection and matching processes for the online retail suite, contributing to the next-generation Matching platform handling over 200 million daily transactions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-value features incrementally, focusing on solving the highest priority problems.
• Execute efficiently by using metrics to drive success and adhering to high-integrity commitments.
• Raise the standard of code quality by continuously improving the codebase and holding peers accountable.
• Collaborate across product, architecture, data science, and infrastructure teams to align efforts.
• Translate business needs into technical capabilities and contribute to the strategic technical roadmap.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep system design skills with experience designing high-scale, complex distributed systems.
• Proficient in front-end development with React and server-side development.
• Strong coding background in Python, Node.js/NestJS/TypeScript, and Java.
• Experience leveraging GraphQL for API development.
• Proficiency with cloud computing environments, specifically AWS.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience with data pipelines and transformation using DBT.
• Ability to guide and coach multiple engineering teams on design principles and best practices.
