Staff Software Engineer

You will build and enhance laboratory workflows within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and integrated services to facilitate clinical lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize commercial off-the-shelf LIMS products to support order-to-result workflows.
• Integrate LIMS with enterprise systems and services to create seamless business processes.
• Lead technical design discussions and create implementation artifacts for cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain an ecosystem of services, applications, and automated tests for regular releases.
• Provide second-tier production support and operational platform management, including user and license management.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of enterprise software development using agile frameworks, test automation, and continuous integration.
• 8+ years of experience developing production software in Java.
• 8+ years of experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs using RAML and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with data modeling, schema development (relational, XML, JSON), and data processing (relational and NoSQL).
• 5+ years of experience customizing commercial Lab Information Management Systems (LabVantage preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services.
• 3+ years of experience working with regulated software in healthcare or financial sectors.
• Deep understanding of microservices, serverless, or CQRS architectural patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
