Description

You will own the backend systems and data pipelines for media automation, ad ops, and inventory management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical inventory applications, specifically xRef DB and SET.
• Administer cloud infrastructure for monitoring and ad-ops tools including Magnite, Freewheel, D2, and DAI.
• Design and optimize automated data pipelines to ensure accurate .sch and .ver file normalization and delivery.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to close skill gaps and improve team capabilities.
• Analyze system performance, establish quality metrics, and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of professional experience in backend development and infrastructure orchestration.
• Deep expertise with AWS and Databricks environments.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and backend logic.
• Strong command of Linux OS, networking, and package management.
• Experience with Git (GitLab) for version control and collaboration.
• Ability to manage aggressive project schedules and establish operational priorities.
• Strong diagnostic, process improvement, and analytical capabilities.
• AI literacy to identify opportunities for automating workflows and optimizing data pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of ad sales infrastructure and data-driven system integration.
