You will design, implement, and maintain backup solutions to ensure data integrity, availability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backup solutions and hardware to meet business requirements and scalability needs.
• Configure and manage backup software and hardware specific to the infrastructure.
• Perform regular backups and conduct recovery tests to validate system reliability.
• Collaborate with IT teams on disaster recovery planning, execution, and infrastructure integration.
• Monitor system performance, optimize for efficiency and capacity, and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Backup Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Backup Configuration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Familiarity with industry-standard backup and recovery solutions and protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in backup technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
