Description

Architect and manage the statewide video management solution for the VDOT Operation Technology Network.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Genetec Security Center video management solution across the statewide OT network.
• Support Traffic Operations Centers with live video feeds and distribute video to vendors, the motoring public, and media partners.
• Integrate video feeds with video wall solutions throughout the network.
• Improve video quality and reliability by providing recommended field configurations and adjustments.
• Perform server administration tasks to update and manage video servers within the environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Video Management, Architecting Video Solutions, and Camera Integration into VMS.
• 3+ years of experience in New IP Camera Integration, Video Quality Management, and Network Management.
• 3+ years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator.
• Proven experience managing large-scale video platforms with over 2,700 remote endpoints.
• Functional knowledge of Barco, RGB Spectrum, VuWall, Milestone, IP CCTV h.264, CDN, and VMS.
• Genetec Security Center 5.x OmniCast technical certification (SC-OTC-001).
• Experience with Genetec Security OmniCast Video Management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduation.
