Description

Perform static analysis on primary aircraft structures and lead technical teams through the substantiation process.

Perform static analysis of primary aircraft structures using industry-standard tools. Execute and review static analysis substantiation reports to ensure compliance. Interpret installation, assembly, and part drawings to meet specific client requirements. Lead and provide technical guidance to engineering teams during design and certification phases. Write competent technical and certification reports for stakeholder review.

Responsibilities

• Perform static analysis of primary aircraft structures using industry-standard tools.
• Execute and review static analysis substantiation reports to ensure compliance.
• Interpret installation, assembly, and part drawings to meet specific client requirements.
• Lead and provide technical guidance to engineering teams during design and certification phases.
• Write competent technical and certification reports for stakeholder review.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft stress analysis and hand calculations.
• Proficiency with Nasgro, Patran/Nastran, Hyperworks, and CATIA.
• Expertise in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and VB Macros.
• Deep understanding of aircraft structures and static analysis methodologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal assistance.
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Aircraft FEM (GFEM/DFEM).
