Description

You will configure STIBO STEP solutions, design data models, and build integrations with enterprise systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into STEP configurations, technical designs, and functional specifications.
• Design data models including domains, attributes, hierarchies, and relationships; configure workflows and validation rules.
• Build integrations with ERP, eCommerce, and PLM systems using REST/SOAP APIs and file-based interfaces.
• Implement data quality rules, stewardship processes, and match/merge strategies to ensure data accuracy.
• Optimize STEP performance, manage security configurations, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for environment promotion.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with STIBO STEP (11.x), including data modeling, UI configuration, and publication/syndication.
• Proficiency in Java or JVM-based languages, SQL, and XML technologies (XSD, XPath, XSLT).
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle) using APIs, message queues, or ETL tools.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Ability to present solutions to stakeholders and drive consensus with crisp written and verbal communication.
• 5+ years of professional experience in MDM/PIM development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying STEP on Azure, using Docker/Kubernetes, and managing CI/CD via Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with data governance, stewardship models, and audit/compliance practices.
