Description

Manage data center storage and backup infrastructure to ensure continuous availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer EMC storage using GUI and CLI to manage capacity and resolve issues.
• Manage Avamar and Data Domain grids, handling upgrades, file system restores, Bare Metal Recovery, and image-level backups.
• Execute storage lifecycle tasks including installations, capacity additions, reclaims, patching, migrations, and decommissioning.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex client and backup grid issues and manage incidents, change requests, and problem records.
• Coordinate with vendors for third-level support and escalated service calls.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in storage and backup administration.
• Extensive knowledge of SAN storage and presenting storage to virtual and physical servers.
• Hands-on experience with EMC and NetApp technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting storage, capacity, and compute issues.
• Understanding of network troubleshooting at the server level.
• Ability to manage major incidents and complex change requests.
• Any Graduate degree.
