Description

You manage storage system performance, reliability, and availability to meet service level agreements in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans for all managed systems.
• Design and execute rollouts for system enhancements and upgrades.
• Automate processes using VMware automation tools.
• Create technical documentation, standards, and SOPs for supported systems.
• Provide operations support and coordinate with Service Center and Network Control Center for problem escalation and resolution.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience in GDPS, Global Mirror, Metro Mirror, and Hiperswap environments.
• Expertise with HCD in large-scale enterprise environments with multiple CECs.
• Experience installing and configuring IBM Mainframes, Virtual Tape systems, and DS8000 DASD.
• Knowledge of Brocade SAN equipment and Brocade Network Advisor.
• Proficiency in DFSMS policies and constructs.
• Experience with IBM Flashcopy, FDR/ABR, DFDSS, and CA1 Tape Management Software.
• Knowledge of dataset structures including PDS, PDSE, GDG, and VSAM.
• Experience with TDMF and security software tools including RACF and ACF2.
• Proficiency in performance monitoring using Omegamon, RMF, SMF, and SAS.
• Coding skills in Assembler, Automation, GDPS, Rexx, and CLIST.
