Description

You will manage global operational activities for Storage and Backup/Recovery teams, focusing on SAN and NAS infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage capacity for data protection services and ensure backup jobs execute on schedule.
• Perform disk, node, and code upgrades, including pre-upgrade health checks.
• Configure and troubleshoot storage arrays and monitor hardware performance.
• Provision storage on Windows, Unix, Cluster, and VMware servers.
• Coordinate hardware replacements with external vendors and assist in data center consolidation.

Required Skills

• Experience with SAN and NAS technologies.
• Proficiency with VMware.
• Working knowledge of Unix environments.
• Experience provisioning on Windows and Cluster servers.
• Ability to perform hardware and performance monitoring.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of progressive experience, or Master’s degree with 6 months of relevant experience.
