Description

You will manage Hitachi Vantara enterprise storage infrastructure, focusing on the VSP series.

Responsibilities

• Administer, provision, and tune Hitachi VSP storage arrays for optimal performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot SAN technologies including Fibre Channel, zoning, LUN masking, multipathing, ISLs, VSANs, and NPIV.
• Implement local and remote data protection using Hitachi replication technologies such as ShadowImage, Thin Image, TrueCopy, and Universal Replicator.
• Operate and maintain Hitachi management tools including Ops Center Administrator, Ops Center Analyzer, Storage Navigator, Device Manager, and Command Suite.
• Resolve fabric issues and ensure high availability of storage systems.

Required Skills

• 5-15 years of experience in storage administration.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Hitachi Vantara VSP series administration.
• Deep knowledge of SAN protocols: Fibre Channel, zoning, LUN masking, multipathing, ISLs, VSANs, NPIV.
• Proficiency with Hitachi operational tooling: Ops Center Administrator, Ops Center Analyzer, Storage Navigator, Device Manager, Command Suite.
• Experience with Hitachi replication solutions: ShadowImage, Thin Image, TrueCopy, Universal Replicator.
• Bachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent technical education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with fabric troubleshooting and performance tuning in large-scale enterprise environments.
