Description

You will manage enterprise storage subsystems and backup infrastructure to ensure data availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Fiber Channel SAN infrastructure, including fabric architecture, switch directors, and zoning.
• Implement and configure Dell and Oracle enterprise and mid-tier storage subsystems.
• Configure backup master and media servers within cluster and SAN environments.
• Design backup policies involving multi-streaming, multiplexing, media management, and NDMP configuration.
• Perform regular health checks on storage arrays and switches and conduct performance analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in storage and backup administration.
• Expertise in Fiber Channel SAN, fabric architecture, and zoning.
• Experience with Dell and Oracle enterprise storage subsystems.
• Proficiency in RAID configurations and disk management tools.
• Hands-on experience with multi-path software installation for load balancing and failover.
• Knowledge of remote and local replication concepts.
• Experience configuring robotic libraries, storage units, volume pools, and disk staging.
• Ability to perform Oracle and SAP specific backups.
• Experience with catalog consistency checks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with new host integration with storage arrays.
