Description

You will own system architecture, data protection integration, and technical planning for enterprise storage environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of application and technical plans for system integration.
• Plan, schedule, and execute proactive maintenance, including hardware upgrades and software patch installations.
• Guide customers through product installation, tuning, and critical situation resolution.
• Perform system administration and maintenance duties during high-volume periods.
• Provide technical expertise and written proposals for data protection products.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with NetBackup, specifically versions 7.x and 8.x.
• Expertise in data protection for MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and MS SharePoint using specialized agents.
• In-depth understanding of Oracle and SQL database protection procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ESX virtual infrastructure data protection.
• Experience migrating enterprise solutions such as TSM, CommVault, or Avamar.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Storage targets including EMC DataDomain, Enterprise Tape Libraries, and Data Protection Appliances.
• Systems administration experience across Linux, Solaris, HP UX, AIX, and Windows.
• Storage administration experience with Hitachi, EMC, IBM, Dell, and Oracle enterprise configurations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a relevant technical engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with vendor products from Veritas, Commvault, EMC, IBM, Innovation Data Processing, or Rocket.
